Pulsation Dampeners
Accumulators (or hydro-accumulators) were originally designed to store or accumulate energy. Integral Accumulator has taken this component and developed it in a variety of ways. Today, the range of uses for accumulators goes far beyond their original use. Modern hydro-accumulators are increasingly being used in industry, agricultural and construction machinery, and in the automotive sector to dampen pulsations.
Pulsation dampeners
Vibrations and oscillations that occur when operating hydraulic plants are a serious drawback. Their causes are many and varied. Pulsations are caused by fluctuations in pump capacity and by pressure surges following the actuation of controllers or the switching on and off of pumps.
They generate noise, increase wear, and hamper the performance of hydraulic plants. In extreme cases, vibrations can actually shorten the service life of the entire plant. A pulsation dampener can reduce these pressure and fluid fluctuations by making the flow more regular. To this end, it releases and absorbs fluid.
Integral Accumulator
By carefully adapting the pulsation dampener to the system involved, all unwanted sideeffects can be eliminated. Not only do pulsation dampeners increase the performance of hydraulic plants, they also reduce the noises generated by the pump. Together, this extends the service life of both the hydraulic plant and its components.
Depending on the application in question, conventional diaphragm accumulators, different types of piston accumulators, and recently developed coilspring accumulators and broadband dampeners are used. Broadband dampeners can be mounted directly in the hydraulic pipeline without the need for additional space. Pulsation dampeners with forced approach flow are recommended for conventional hydraulic applications. Our engineers work hand in hand with the customers to select the right dampener for their requirements.
Standard hydroaccumulators
Integral Accumulator supplies special piston and diaphragm accumulators made of a variety of materials with capacities of up to 3.5 liters and for pressures of up to 350 bar. Each accumulator is specially adapted to meet specific requirements.
